Corporate Social Responsibility
ChangeGroup’s commitment to charities and social causes within our communities is something we take tremendous pride in. As a part of these initiatives, ChangeGroup donates around 3% of its annual net profits to charitable causes each year.
The Tree Foundation
At the heart of ChangeGroup’s charitable giving around the world is The Tree Foundation, which ChangeGroup’s founders and employees have been supporting for years. The Tree Foundation gives out educational grants to talented individuals studying in secondary and tertiary education in Sri Lanka, as well as a range of humanitarian support for the local communities. The Tree Foundation was founded in 1996 by our CEO, Sacha Zackariya in an effort to give back to the country of his father’s birth.
ChangeGroup has supported The Tree Foundation over the years in many ways, including:
- Raising more than £250,000 to support the Sri Lankan victims of the devastating 2004 Tsunami.
- Supporting more then 300 children and young adults each year to gain meaningful business and science qualifications. Many of these students have gone on to become successful doctors and engineers that now support the Sri Lankan economy and society.
- Providing donation boxes at ChageGroup locations around the world.
- Providing office space and equipment, Providing regulatory, legal and IT support. Learn more about the Tree Foundation.
